Huntsville Police Locate Abducted Child 

 

Huntsville, Alabama (August 17, 2011) On August 15, 2011, Huntsville Police Investigators received information from Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office in Topeka, Kansas, that Kathryn Peoples and her son was possibly in our area. Ms. Peoples was wanted for the December 2009 abduction of her son who was listed on the North American Missing Persons Network and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children website.

Investigator Jerry Trew, working together with Uniform Patrol Officers were able to locate Ms. Peoples and her son. Ms. Peoples was arrested on August 16, 2011, without incident at 1701 Sparkman Drive.
